On any given night you will hear songs from
artists such as, Albert King, Michael Burks, The Marshall
Tucker Band, Gov't Mule and
their favorite, The Allman Brothers Band.
The music and show are 1st class, just close
your eyes and let the music penetrate your soul or get up and dance to the
beat.
The "Pig Farmers" are
available for clubs, concerts and private parties. Overalls and boots are
allowed, fun is a given. This is not just another "Bar" band, just ask
anyone or join the Pig Farmers at a show soon and see what
the fuss is all about ..."Suuu Eeeeee"
A note from the Head Hog:
It's no secret what's going on with the economy and the amount of
people out of work. Well, the music scene has been hit very hard not unlike
other sectors. In summary, I was laid off from the software business back in
Jan of 2008. I'm lucky that I have some marketable skills and have been
holding on.
Well, in May, I purchased the
exclusive rights for Allentown with SuddenValues.com, a national marketing/media firm. Therefore, I have decided to
take a few months away from music to devote to the opening of my business.
There will be some announcements shortly, I promise!!
For my music friends, I want
to thank you all for your support through all the years. I'll evaluate the
music situation as we move into the new year and I will fulfill any gigs
currently booked. In fact, I will also consider accepting new gigs if
offered.
More News: After
approx. 8 years hosting the Tuesday Jam, I want to let you all know that the
Leather Corner Post and I have decided to pull the plug. We had some amazing
times and more fun then I can remember but eventually all things do run
their course. I want to thank Al & Marie at the Post for putting up with us
and all the musicians in the house band and jamers. While I was considering
a relocation, my new business (above) is my current focus.
